First of all, we need to know what is the meaning of internet.
First of all, we need to know what is the meaning of internet.
So basically, the Internet is a worldwide collection of networks that links millions of businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and individuals.
To access the internet we must have a connection. What type of connection? There are various type of connection that we can use to access the internet. First one is WIRED and second is WIRELESS as you can see in the table below.
These are the few things that is important to know :
a) Internet service provider (ISP)
It is business that provides individuals and organizations access to the Internet free or for a fee. For example, Unifi, TM, Celcom.
b) IP address
IP address is a sequence of numbers that uniquely identifies each computer or device connected to the Internet.
c) Domain name
It is a text-based name that corresponds to the IP address.
d) DNS server
It translates the domain name into its associated IP address
e) World Wide Web (WWW)
or known as web, consists of a worldwide collection of electronic documents (webpages)
f) Website
A collection of related webpages and associated items.
g) Web server
Computer that delivers requested webpages to your computer.
h) Browser
An application that enables users with an Internet connection to access and view webpages on a computer or mobile device.
i) Home Page
Home page is the first page that a website displays.

How about web address? Do you know what it is? Or maybe you know when I mention URL. Yes, it is actually the same thing :D Each webpage that a website displays have their own web address. For example as the picture above, the web address is https://kupukupupelangisenja.blogspot.my/

l) Media on the Web
i. Graphic - visual images or designs on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, screen, paper, or stone to inform, illustrate, or entertain.
ii) Audio - includes music, speech, or any other sound.
iii) Video - an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting, and display of moving visual media.
iv) Animation - the process of making the illusion of motion and the illusion of change by means of the rapid succession of sequential images that minimally differ from each other.
v) Virtual Reality - a computer technology that uses virtual reality headsets or multi-projected environments, sometimes in combination with physical environments or props, to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulate a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment.
